Fluid is a site-specific browser that allows you to create an OS X desktop application from any website or web application. Creating a Fluid app is a great and easy way to give you another way to integrate Blimp with your day to day workflow.

Setting up Fluid is easy, just go to the Fluid site to download, install, and run to get started. On the “Create a Fluid App” dialog enter the following settings:

• URL: https://app.getblimp.com/
• Name: Blimp (or anything you like)
• Location: Applications (or wherever you like)
• Icon:  Use Website Favicon (or you can choose Other. We’ve designed a nice custom icon that you can use. Get it here)

After you click “Create”, you’ll have a new Blimp Fluid app ready to use. Once you launch it and sign in you’ll get a nice icon on the dock with a badge showing a count of unread notifications.
